Oh how I used to dream and scheme! And then fate found me sober and clean. It took some time, you know, Ouch, the places liquor made me go.
They told me destiny awaits us all; I swear to you I only heard one call, And marched along through hell, Smiling so you couldn’t tell.
I recall words, “How the mighty did fall.” No no no! Now I’m standing tall! Oh, how I used to dream and scheme, Til fate found me sober and clean.
